Hi all,
I have two sections from a children's home medical report. The first section I can't really understand any of it.
The second part I think says Has worked in laundry since - not equal for 51hrs work. It is the last part I'm not sure if I'm reading it right.
Also any help with the first section would be much appreciated.
Many thanks Mark

Snip 1:
Gives little trouble - works quietly in the laundry & does not do badly for the type of girl she is - will never do much more.
Snip 2: ....is not equal for other work.

agree with JenB on first bit. Then
not equal for other work?
Sorry agree with all, hadn't spotted second snip

Thank you so much.

Does not do badly 'for the type of girl she is'. The mind boggles. I wonder what 'type' she was?

it's a tad judgemental, isn't it?

My aunt had learning difficulties of some kind and ended up in a mental asylum so that's what they are referring to. She died not long after being admitted at the age of 20.

Bless her. I had a relative died in a similar place, though I believe she may not have been as capable as yours.
