Hello has anyone a connection to Reginald Parlour born Shelf Yorkshire 1904 but moved to Burnley by the time he was 8. On the 1911 census. His father was James Parlour born London, Mother Hannah Maria Grimshaw born Yorkshire. I am trying to find the first marriage of Reginald, he was divorced date unknown and re married a Florence May Simpson about 1935. At one stage I was told he deserted the army and changed his name to John Smith. I understand he died 1982 under his original name Parlour. Help Appreciated. Thank You

No marriage to a Florence M Simpson or anybody else showing on freebmd. No death under Parlour in 1982
A tree on Ancestry has him as Reginald John Parlour-Brown died 29.6.1982

There are a couple on mentions of his desertion 1922 and 1925 in the Burnley News and Lancashire Evening Post , his alias in one was "Jack Brown".

Would be interested in where they got his death from. Searching deaths under just Reginald 1982 Lancashire has nothing
-
Could be the 1982 John Brown death - birthdate 1.4.1904
1961 marriage John Brown to Florence May Simpson - LancsBMD shows it as a civil marriage

Thank You. Appreciate replies re Reginald Parlour / Brown and giving the correct name change to Jack Brown not Smith. They appear a bit of a mystery. A family member of Reginald gave me the details she found the notes and that's all she knew of it. I cannot find a first marriage. I tried to get into the early electoral roles but failed. Thank You all who relied. Apreciated.
