Title: Resting place for Florence.......again!
Post by: Carol gent on Thursday 19 August 21 12:54 BST (UK)
Good Afternoon.
We are still trying to find where Florence Alberta Holness b 14th Dec 1895 d March 1974 is buried.
We have narrowed it down to Thanet, probably Broadstairs.
We have contacted local undertakers, councils, had a morning at Canterbury Cathedral Archives!
And ruled out cremation. So if anyone has any suggestions or help, we would be most grateful!
Many thanks as always.
Carol.

There is a previous thread on this and I think all obvious avenues have been explored. The only thing which has just crossed my mind is that a few people leave their bodies to science. I don't know how or if this is recorded.
Someone I knew did this, and there was a village memorial service, but obviously no burial there.

Hi All,
Yes, death certificate purchased, she died in St. Augustine’s Chartham, and she was handed back to her sister. Florence never married.
1939 she was at KC Mental Hospital Chartham, Bridge Blean Kent, her death is registered in Bridge. did she remain in care from 1939 to when she died?
Had not thought of medical science🤷‍♂️
Thank you all
Carol.
