Title: Seeking Notini and Bechelli in Italy!

Hi all,

I have been tracing my family tree but am at a brick wall at Italy. My ancestors came over in 1900 and I can't get very far back on this. I managed to find out that

Gioconda Notini was from Italy, Lucca, Coreglia Antelminelli but as I don't speak Italian I am unsure if this advises her parents names:

Can anyone help, please?

Her husband Rinaldo Bechelli was also born in Castiglione but I'm not sure if this advises parent names: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QSQ-G9WQ-YW5V?i=341&cc=2043811&cat=820379

Gioconda's parents are Felice Nutini and Letizia Pisani.

Rinaldo is the son of the late Agostino and of the late Clarinda Rossi.

are you sure they came over in 1900?
1897 - Mary Rose F Bechelli - in Whitehaven
1899 Angello FELICE Bechelli - in Whitehaven - and then quite a few more - sadly Felice died less than a year old in 1900

was Angello FELICE Bechelli named Felice after his grandad Felice Nutini ???

Hi apologies! Married in Barga in 1895 (off top of my head). We're headed for America and (according to family lore) told to disembark at Whitehaven and that they were in America. They settled and had Mary Rose (also known as Maria Rosa), Angello etc. My great grandad was John Ferrucio Bechelli. Thank you!! I never picked up on the Felice either. And Rinaldo was Rinaldo Angello. Of the 8 children, only 1 outlived their mother, Gioconda. Rinaldo was killed in 1924 in the Walkmill Colliery

Had a look online for birth and marriage records in Italy. Unfortunately, could only find records up to 1814.
