Title: McMillan's of Miramar

I am after the parents names without having to buy the wedding certificate. In a 1938 wedding photo the parents are described as Mr and Mrs Alex. McMillan of Miramar. The son getting married was John Alexander McMillan. Using other sources could folks find more details of Alex and Wife of Miramar  please.

Alexander McMillan, 52 Darlington Road, Sawmaker
Mary McMillan, 52 Darlington Road, Married
John Alexander McMillan, 52 Darlington Road, Engineer

There was a previous divorce, and John Alexander with Willamina is an engineer

Thank you. If he is my man then now I have a death. Is it possible from looking at other records to discern which of the likely contenders is the J.A.M. who divorced Williamina Patricia nee Kilner in 1958? This is the question that I should have started with. ;D

The Wilson Collection records a marriage in 1945 between John Alexander McMillan and Williamina Patricia Kilner. 
The 1946 electoral roll for Tamaki records them living at 2 Koraha Street.  John is a Manager, Williamina, Married.
The 1946 electoral roll for Remuera records them living at 2 Koraha Street.  John is an Engineer, Williamina, Married.
The 1949 electoral roll for Island Bay, Wellington records Williamina only at 314 [The] Esplanade.
The 1954 ER for Island Bay has them both living as above.  John is a Company Manager and Williamina is Married.
The 1957 ER for Island Bay living as above.  John is a Managing Director and Williamina, Married.

A Geni record shows that Williamina remarried to Gerald Frederick MacClesfield Heath.  She died on 20 March 2012 in Paeroa, Waikato.

That geni record is mine and correct re Williamina's remarriage but has caused problems with my J.A.M. selection. :-[
