Title: Ned Robinson and family

I am looking for help finding what happened to Edward (Ned) Robinson and his family. Ned was born 8 Jan 1901 in Lanchester, Durham. He married Mary Ann Hailes and they moved to Birmingham. I know they had a son, Frederick B Robinson, he was born 1926 in Lanchester. Unfortunately, I have not been able to trace what happened to any of them.

Edward Robinson born 8 January 1901 died 1977. GRO Ref: Birmingham 1Q 32 / 1552

Have you any idea what the 'B' stands for in Frederick's name, could it be Benjamin?  See previous thread:

B was for Bird as per GRO online.  He died 1998 in Bristol.  Born 2.2.1926

BR1gau, it makes sense that his middle name would be Benjamin as that was his father's name. Thank you.

In 1939 they are still in Lanchester working at the mine.

Mary indexed Mary J

Mary 21/2/1931 latter Wilkinson.


Mary Robinson dies as Wilkinson  13 Dec 2014 Newcastle upon Tyne born 21/2/1931.

In 1957 they are at 58 Tennyson Road Birmingham on the Electoral reg
Edward,Mary A ,Fred B and Mary M.
Looks like they were there 1945-1962.
In 1954 there are also Harold C Joines and Maureen Joines probably daughter born Lanchester  .( Don't want to put more because of privacy  rules).
At one point there are also a Robert and Hannah Hailes living with them.

And checking Anc Trees there is one with pictures of Edward's Mom and Dad and a couple of siblings.They are descended from sister Dot.So pictures Dot,Billy and Molly.
