Title: Walter Jackson, Cause of Death?
Post by: Kim2000 on Monday 31 May 21 19:54 BST (UK)
Hi,

I'm hoping you could help me, as I'm struggling to find anything or know if I'm correct. I have a member of my family tree, Walter Jackson, thought to be born in 1929 in Hull, Yorkshire, and dying possibly in 1930, but I'm unsure.

He's the only son of Charles Victor Jackson and Sarah Ellen Warcup, and I was wondering if anybody could help me know if the dates I have for him are correct and possibly, how he died?

Thank you in advance.

You need to check freebmd for a death & the only way you will find his cause of death is by buying a copy of his death cert

www.freebmd.org.uk

If you check freebmd you will find Charles & Sarah married in 1907.  What is odd is that Jackson/Warcup births only register from 1922 then 6 births between 1922-1929.    Walter was b June qtr 1929 Sculcoates.  No death in Sculcoates but there is a death in Hull March qtr 1932 aged 2

Carole, looks as though Charles Victor was in the Royal Navy until 1921, might explain why children didn't start to appear until 1922 :)

He is not in the RN in 1911 & they had been married 4yrs by then.  Sarah was b 1886 so was 36 when first child was born - unless there were miscarriages in between

The burial registers for Hull are available on Familysearch, which give the cause of death, age, address where they lived and the name of the informant. They are at the catalogue for Hull Cemeteries.
You will need to register but it is free.

Kim, You have requested help on here several times and have not responded to the help given, if you come online and view the responses then it is only good manners to reply or you run the risk of losing the goodwill of the volunteers. Just a bit of friendly advice.
