Title: Airth cemeteries
Post by: ajjbc on Friday 28 May 21 02:02 BST (UK)
Wondering how many cemeteries there are in Airth,
...especially the old ones and is it connected to the church.
Are there any printed lists or booklets available of those buried in the said churchyard or burial grounds?

Find a Grave website lists 2 cemeteries and has some individual entries https://www.findagrave.com/cemetery-browse/Scotland/Stirling/Airth?id=city_406366
Burial records should be held by Falkirk District Council

Thanks Sandra...I looked at those and really there is very little.
So...will continue to seek out printed M.I. list somewhere.
Have many names and older dates to chase.

Just checked out Central Scotland Family History Society web site. They have a couple of lists available at a small charge https://www.csfhs.org.uk/index.php/publications/publications-list

Thank you Sandra...Now I will get in touch with them and order copies of what I need (& want LOL).
M.I.'s are so important in helping with our ongoing research.....being doing this for over 40 years now. So many clues to be found on stones. We need all the help we can get.
