Title: Death of Alexander Buchan 1900

Alexander left Aberdeenshire for Queensland in 1888, at the age of 18.  He married Bridget Grace in 1900, and died the same year.  She remarried a Mr. Harms and lived until 1956.  Her daughter Grace died in 1926 at 5 months old and her son Reginald was accidentally killed in January 1929 at the age of 13 years.  Can anyone shed some light on what happened to these people?  Alexander was the son of William Buchan and William Buchan, and my first cousin, 2xremoved.

RIDING FATALITY.
Death of a Young Boy.
WHILE MUSTERING HORSES.
ROMA, Monday.—Reginald Harms, aged 13 years and 7 months, son of Mr. Charles Harms, died at noon yesterday as a result of a riding accident at Coorella, 22 miles south of Roma, on Yalebone-road. The boy, with two elder brothers, was engaged mustering horses. Racing to cut one out he struck a tree limb which pentrated his side and knocked him off the horse. The boy got up and led his horse across the lane and collapsed. The brothers picked him up, placed him on the horse, and took him home. The Ambulance and doctors were telephoned for. Dr. Feather arrived on the scene in less than half an hour. The boy had then succumbed to his injuries.

BOY KILLED NEAR ROMA.
A riding accident, resulting in the death of Reginald Harms, 13, occurred in the Roma district. Harms, with his two brothers, was mustering horses on his father's property at Coreela, about 20 miles south of Roma,when he collided with a branch of a tree. The limb penetrated his side and knocked him off his horse. His brothers assisted him to his home, but the unfortunate boy succumbed before the arrival of medical assistance.

YOu may already have this:
An on-line tree has a photo of a grave in Scotland with a MI inscription for Alexander BUCHAN, died 1900 at St George in Queensland, so it seems that this would be a newspaper mention of his death from typhoid. He has the title 'Constable' so presumably he was a policeman.
