Title: Help with identifying my grandfathers uniform please

Michael James O'Brien born 1898 in Northern Ireland ..Any help would be much appreciated thank you

Hard to say, but perhaps mounted formation, perhaps Royal Horse Artillery, or Dragoons/Hussars?
Stripe = Lance Bombardier if Artillery or Lance Corporal in other units.

Thank you NSWP for your help. I want to write some details with this photo so your information is very valuable. I do have another photo of him again no details other than "Driver" pencilled on the back...He looks so young

Driver would indicate RHA/RFA.
2nd. photo shows him in tropical kit so overseas.

Thank you Jim1 this is great information I can finally piece together what my grandfather did during WW1   ..I think it is  R.F.A that I found in some notes ..I think I remember my grandmother saying something about him serving in India but I can not be sure about that

Driver = Driving the horse carriages pulling the guns?

Good work, RFA = Royal Field Artillery, the gun carriages and all that.
