If you look at the original entry her sister Ann aged 29 is shown as married but is shown as surname Park. The 2 Thompson grandchildren are hers - GRO online shows mmn Park
Although not very clear - I think Mary is shown as unmarried and in 1861 is a servant in a school in Holme Low Cumberland

Do you have the Park family on the 1841 census?

other persons named on Dec 1848
FORSTER Francis
McInnsaby Elizabeth
Mealy Mary
REYNOLDS Garrett
Scott Mary
WALKER James
WILMOTT Thomas
I can't see a transcription of the 1848 marriage
GRO indexes have these birth entries but you would have thought William would be on 1851 census
WALKER, WILLIAM mmn PARK
GRO Reference: 1849 D Quarter in CARLISLE Volume 25 Page 83
WALKER, JOHN mmn PARK
GRO Reference: 1852 D Quarter in CARLISLE Volume 10B Page 331
I cannot tell you if it relates to the 1848 marriage of Mary Park to a possible James Walker
You would need to obtain the 1848 marriage certificate to confirm details
