Title: Susanna Daniel
Post by: Suzy W on Tuesday 11 May 21 04:49 BST (UK)
Susanna Daniel born 1835 married James Matthews in 1862 St Just.

I found one census that may relate to her after marriage, 1871.  Having a daughter Anny (Would think more like Annie) born abt 1865 St Just

I think James Matthews may of died in 1866 St Just.

I can't seem to see a new marriage on OPC for Susanna Matthews nor 1881 census for her, she just seems to have gone from Cornwall.

New set of eyes would be helpful thanks

There is a burial in July 1871 St. Just for a Susanna Matthews, age 36.
Her residence is Church Town- the same as on her marriage.

Her birth was reg as Anne 1865 (mmn Daniel)

She might be a Servant in London in 1881 as Anne Matthews born 1864 Cornwall.

"I think James Matthews may of died in 1866 St Just."

In the newspaper notice Susan is described as "wife of" not widow.
In the 1871 recorded as married not widow.

Makes me wonder if James not deceased but absent from home in 1871.
