I am looking for descendants of Arthur James BLACK 1925 to 2003 and his wife Josephine E Ward 1928 to 2017, in the Stratford upon Avon Area, and Warwickshire.
He, I think is the son of Adam Sanderson Black 1891 to 1956 and Beatrice Moreton 1892 to ?
and he in turn is the son of James Black born in Dolphinton in Scotland in 1865 and married to Grace Somerville Sanderson, 1863 to 1957, who they were married at Kirkurd, in Peeblesshire on 20 July 1888.
The link on my tree appears to be through Grace Somerville Sanderson, whose father was Adam Sanderson, the son of David Sanderson (1795 to 1866) and Jean or Jane Black (1795 to 1876)
Jean / Jane being the sister of my 2x great grandfather, John Black 1803 to 1887 and his wife Elizabeth Thomson (1817 to 1879)

Their marriage was 1952 so any descendants are likely to still be alive. Rootschat has a no living persons policy so no names can be given here
If you use freebmd - there are some likely births which may help you to make contact - possibly via social media
-
His death reg shows his birthdate as 6.11.1925 - use that info to find him on the 1939 register to confirm his parentage
1922 marriage in Worcester for parents - fathers birth is on www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk in 1891

Thanks for that info, perhaps some ancestors details are available

He had a sister born 1928 shown on the 1939 entry
She died on 10.5.2013 in Liverpool. - Elizabeth Mary Browne b 7.10.1928. She married 1955 & if you look up the marriage on Ancestry you will find a report of a name variation from her son.

At last got back to this far flung side of the family in Warwickshire.
I am now looking for any details for three of Adam's Sisters, namely GRACE SANDERSON BLACK, born 31 Dec 1899 at Hampton Lucy, Margaret (Pol) Black born 24 Oct 1903 at Wellesbourne and Dorothy Mary E Black born on 7th June 1911, presumed at Wellesbourne.
I have the two sisters on the 1939 Register at 298 Spon Road, West Bromwich, with their mother Grace Somerville Black, born 23 Feb 1863, (widowed), Dorothy M E born 17 Jun 1911, a sub-postmistress, MARRIED, and Margaret born 24 Oct 1903, Post Office Assistant , SINGLE.
I am unable to find any trace of Dorothy's marriage, not their passing away.
Grace Sanderson Black is in the 19139 Register as a School Teacher living with a Catherine Walker in Rugby.
Any guidance of where to look now, either FindMyPast or Scotland's People?

If Dorothy was married - her surname wouldn't be Black unless she was a daughter in law. Likely to be an error when her marital status was recorded
She died 2003 as Dorothy Mary E Black

Getting back to this string, Dorothy Mary Evelyn TAME, is the daughter in law to Grace Somerville Black, nee Sanderson, (1863 to 1957)and was married in 1936 to David George Black, born around August 1905 at Wellesbourn in Warwickshire. I have him on both 1911 and 1921 census, but not on 1939 register.
Why? He died on 22 June 1963 at West Bromwich, so where was he in 1939. Have tried several variations of surname, but no luck.

He could have been serving in the Armed Forces. Google 1939 register military personnel for details
