I am looking for the date and place of the marriage & death of Sybil Bunt dob 12-5-1919 in Queensland Australia
I found her dob in the Queensland BMD records; however, there is no information (I can find) as to her marriage and death; can anybody assist with a lookup of records please?

She was Sybil Esther Bunt. Do you have access to Ancestry? There is a tree showing she married Boyd Robert Vanderpool who died 1950 Minnesota and she died 26.8.2011 Minnesota which is why you can't find her in Australian records
You could contact the tree owner for further info

Hi and thanks for your help! No I don't have access to Ancestry; being a pensioner can't afford it.
Does her dob show as 12-5-1919? If so, I agree it must be her. Thanks again.

Hi there,
I notice you have been a member of RootsChat for many years and you are based in Queensland Australia. I am confident that, as a Queenslander, you would be able to ask Queensland State Library to help you access the Library edition of Ancestry. It is also likely that your own local public library will have similar access. I am sure there's no costs involved.
I can see that the Queensland State Library's website has eresources. One particular mention at their website reads:
eresources accessible ..... remote access .... has been temporarily enabled for library members until 30 June 2021 * FindMyPast (Australia, UK, Ireland and USA). There's eight weeks to go until end of June 2021 at the moment. ;D

Ancestry Library Editon does not include all of the features of Ancestry.com, including access to Family Trees I believe.
This tells you the specifics:

My experience is that in library edition you can fully access public trees, and many records, but not create your own tree.
In an Ancestry free account, you can create your own tree, but not fully access public trees, you get a preview only, and records are generally not available.

Wow it's been several years since I used Roots Chat and I'd forgotten how helpful you guys can be!
Thank you very much to all of you; I now have confirmation of Sybil's Marriage and Death, for which I am grateful. Coincidently she was born in Chinchilla, Queensland, as was my mother - small world.
