Hi All
Does anyone have the parish records for St. Mary's church Minera 1903. I am looking for a baptism for an Elizabeth (Lizzie) Lloyd (could be October) 1903. It is rumoured that she was baptised over her mothers coffin who had died giving birth to her. So I am looking for a baptism and burial fairly close to each other. I don't know the names of the parents but they may have lived in Gwynfryn.
Thanks
Elaine

Hi Carole
Thanks for the reply. I have Lizzie in 1911 living with an aunt and uncle at Park road Tanyfron
which ties in with family memory. But with all the Elizabeths flitting about, I was trying to pin down the actual parents. It makes sense that she was named after her mum. We know she had an older brother but we dont know his name either but by putting 2 and 2 together with my fingers crossed, I think I may have found the father and son living in Gwynfryn with the grandmother. Joseph Thos. Lloyd and Alun Howell Ll. (widower). You mentioned in your reply mmn howell which I dont understand but the howell name fits.

He was John Thomas Lloyd (not Joseph) and a possible marriage June quarter 1899 Wrexham where one of the possible brides is an Elizabeth Howell.

Sorry - mmn stands for mothers maiden name

The aunt and uncle (Henry and Mary Eliza) - Henry Thomas married Mary Eliza Lloyd 1887 Wrexham so was Mary Eliza a sister of John Thomas Lloyd??.

That was a civil marriage, so no online details.

I think the date of Elizabeth's death is wrong, probably been trancribed wrongly. Should be 1 November 1903
