I have for a month been submitting the same application, 4th, 12th and last 18th April, for a photocopy. As of today, 25th April, no reply, no nothing except the receipt for payments, on 12th and 18th April.
The very last submission from last year elicited both the emailed photo copy, and a snail mail copy with an explanation that their email app/s were not working properly. Well that was not true! What was broken then is the email receipt mechanism that confirms delivery to the sender if required. Normally that is not done, i.e. we do not use it, nor need to, in day to day email processing.
If this post is read by@welfare.ie, would it be so kind as to tell us what is going on with the service. Is it temporarily closed? delayed due to Covid19 etc. If it is no longer providing service please indicate where we may obtain data / photo copies etc.
