Title: Victory Parade North Africa Campaign
Post by: thomasgatherer on Friday 23 April 21 18:47 BST (UK)
Hi
can anyone think of a parade with Montgomerie in 1943 taking the salute in N Africa sometime after El Alemain and before invasion of Sicily. The parade was reported on Cinema news reels in the UK.

My Mother in law says she saw her husband on his tank (3CLY tank regiment) but cant remember the date or the News report - Pathe etc.

Thank you
Tom

Hi
I m sure there were probably a few victory parades but there is this one in Sfax, Tunisia.
Monty is there right at the end, and one with tanks..Youtube would be a good place to search.
Tripoli one looks good.
