checking on Genuki, if the church you're looking for is St Barnabas, it appears to be modern and no registers deposited as yet. So, not even at the archives in Cardiff, let alone online.

Thank you Osprey for your reply. Trouble is I don't know which church it could be. I am new to the family I that I am looking for now and have never ventured into Welsh family history. The surname I am looking for is Morgan which is about as good as Smith as far as I can tell in Wales. I have Smith's in London so understand the struggle I might have to look forward to.

Thank you again

what period are you looking for?  If you could name some people & events, we can have a look for you. Morgan isn't as common as Davies or Jones so don't start worrying yet.

I should have asked what you're trying to find. Why do you need parish records? Do you know that the family were members of the established church? If they were non-conformist, it's unlikely that there are records online.

1911 census for family
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XWX9-5X2

birth regs
Robert David Morgan dec qtr 1906 Pontypridd mmn Hopkins
Gwennie Morgan june qtr 1913 Pontypridd mmn Hopkin - correct quarter for child born 31 March

Haven't spotted a baptism online for Gwennie or parish marriage for parents.

Death reg Merlin John Morgan dec qtr 1996 Pontypridd dob 22 Nov 1917

Have you checked the 1939 register for the family which would give you dates of birth? Merlin would be a good one to check as the date would match the one on the death reg.

Birth reg for father
John Jenkin Morgan june qtr 1881 Pontypridd vol 11a pg 436 mmn Heycock

Hi OSprey

Really trying to find info on Gwennie she seems to have fallen off the grid.
Yes, I have looked at 1939 register, there is a possibility for Gwennie but the date of birth is wrong as it says November 1913 not the March as expected.
I have no idea what religion or church they attended.
Thank you very much for your help

the 1921 census will be available next year so that might help you. When did Gwennie die? She may still be redacted on the 1939 register.

ok, just found her death as Gwennie Coutts in 1981. She married William J Coutts in Lambeth in 1937 and they are on the 1939 register. Search with her date of birth and surname Coutts.
