Title: Help with cause of death

Looking for some help with this cause of death, Esther was 16 months when she died in 1865.

I'm not great a reading this old writing, so many thanks

That looks good to me, never heard of Croop so had a wee google an it makes sense for it to be Croop.

I see croup - 24 hours too. Swelling of the larynx, it results in a barking cough. My Son had it when he was small. It's still common in babies and children today.
