Title: Edward Pennefather KC
Post by: Pinkinx on Saturday 10 April 21 21:07 BST (UK)
Hi!

I am currently researching the life of my 4th Great Grandfather Edward Pennefather KC. His son, Charles Edward Pennefather is my 3rd GG.

I have some understanding of his life. He was an KS-Irish lawyer and judge of the Victorian era, who served as Lord chief justice of Ireland. And he is considered one of the greatest Irish advocates of his time.

I would like to dissect more of his life and why he was deemed at such a high standard. I’m struggling to find further information other than repeated anecdotes.

I would be over the moon if there was a photograph too (not asking for much!).

Thanks x
