Title: Legacy 9.0 and Census Records
Post by: Exiled Mancunian on Thursday 08 April 21 21:34 BST (UK)
Firstly, I apologise if this is the wrong place for this post.
I use Legacy 9.0 Family Tree and I was wondering if there is a way of adding census entries and 1939 Register entries to individual ancestor records? Currently I have them on census record sheets for each family.
Any help would be gratefully received.
Kind regards and stay safe,

Hi

the way that I do it  is to create a Residence event, and cite the census as the source of that event

Hi Gordon,

Apologies for not replying sooner. I hadn't thought of that but I will give it a go.

Kind regards and stay safe,

Chris

I forgot to mention that the event can be shared with all the members of the household.

I enter the event at the head of household, then share with the others present. Sometimes I get an Occupation event as well.

Hi Gordon,

Thanks for that tip. I hadn't realised I could do that.
