Her parents were Henry Mahood and Jane Johnston. Two of her brothers William Mahood and James Mahood came to Canada, William in 1911 on the ship Lake Champlain and James in 1913 on the ship Empress of Ireland. I have lots of information on them. Their sister Mary came to Canada in March 1910 on the ship Lake Champlain which arrived in St. John NB.

Ship list gives age as 25, so birth year c 1885 and that she was born Ireland and was heading to Winnipeg.

Further information on the husband of Bessie - Reginald R McLellan who died 1943
Bessie and Reginald had 3 children, 2 sons R. W. (and Victor is listed in an obituary above) and a daughter "S"
The daughter "S" and husband "D" - have 2 children, a female born 17 May 1967 Paradise Hill Saskatchewan and a son born 28 December 1972 also Paradise Hill. Saskatchewan.
Reginald McClellan was apparently turned down by the air-force so moved to the Tomlinson coast on the railroad
at Kwinitsa. British Columbia. On 12 February 1943 a snow slide went through there work camp and down the banks of the Skeena River. Reginald was caught in the slide and was crushed, suffering internal injuries. He died on a special hospital train on the way to Prince Rupert. He was taken back to Saskatchewan and laid to rest at Glenbogie
