Jane Wilson's mother was Sarah Jane Mahood in Belfast. Jane Wilson lived in Jasper and Edmonton Alberta Canada. Sarah Jane Mahood was the sister of my grandfather William Andrew Mahood

Welcome to RootsChat
Is this likely to be a living person ? The names are so common, we would really need a birth year ?
When did Jane immigrate to Canada etc ?

For reference-
A William Andrew Mahood born 1910 (mother's maiden name Hanna)-

Family in 1911 census-

Can't see birth for a sister Sarah Jane. So, perhaps this is a different William Andrew Mahood or it's the correct one but sister Sarah Jane born less than 100 years ago? In any case it seem possible that Sarah Jane's daughter might be alive.

"Some of the information I had" should have been included in your original enquiry.
You were lucky with the time spent on this and what was found for you.
Pleased it was of valuable help.

Thank for the note Sandra, I will provide what I have if requesting again. Thanks to the assistance I have learned a lot about Jane Wilson's family and have been able to message someone who I believe is a distant relative living 20 minutes from me.

Hi Carl, I also have Sarah Jane Mahood and Archibald Wilson in my family tree. Haven't done any further research in quite a few years, but now you have me interested again! Must dig out the info I have and see what matches!
