Title: looking for photo of alfred manley

Hi- dont know if anyone can possibly help. I've been trying to locate any photograph of my grt grandfather Alfred Manley (1886 to 1917) Born in Birkenhead, Cheshire and died in Egypt. (casualty of war). He was married to Margaret Ellen Lee (from chester who died in 1960). Had a few sons , one of whom was Ernest Asquith Manley.
I' ve gone down all the various routes eg family, genealogy sites, war records (nothing on memorials). There seems to be no photos of him anywhere. Might anyone be able to help??

Can’t help with the photo but are you aware they also had a daughter Alice born Dec qtr 1916 who died in the same qtr

Have you tried following up the sons marriages, finding possible living children/grandchildren then looking on social media? Usually one child ends up with the family archive.

William Frederick 1911
Ernest Asquith 1913
George Alfred 1915

FindMyPast Newspapers - a poor quality "head a shoulders" photograph - Birkenhead News, 28 April 1917 - page 2 - plus a paragraph on his war service and family.
