Hi, I'm looking for Elizabeth MEE, census's say she was born in Wilnecote (then in Warwickshire)
between 1795 and 1805, although she married Theophilus TOMLINSON in 1816 in Castle Donington so
I'm thinking it's highly unlikely she was born post 1800 as she would be extremely young to get
married! I would really appreciate any help in narrowing down her DOB and parents names if possible.
Thanks

She could marry as early as 12 years old with parents consent, though it was not very common :-\
Have you seen the parish register entry for the marriage or just the transcript

1841 : Theophilus = 45, Elizabeth = 37, Elizabeth = 10 and Ann = 6
1851 : Theophilus = 56, Elizabeth = 46, William = 30 and Ann = 16
Death for Theophilus - 1852 (Shardlow RD) = 57
Nearest I can see for a death for Elizabeth in Shardlow RD is 1859 aged 56 (1853 aged 38, 1854 aged 98, 1855 aged 70 and 1857 aged 46)
Doesn't help too much with Elizabeth Mee, though, does it?

In case you haven't seen it -
Nottinghamshire Guardian - Thursday Evening, 8 July 1852
At Castle Donington on the 26th ult. Mr Theophilus Tomlinson, aged 57 years.
He doesn't appear to have left a will.

It might be worth considering that the Elizabeth in 1841 and 1851 was not the Elizabeth he married in 1816.
A Hannah MEE also married in Castle Donington the following year to Jabez RAYNS and according to the census she was born in Worthington, Leicestershire. There is a baptism in 1787 which might be her, daughter of William. There is also a baptism for an Elizabeth MEE in 1789, daughter of William.
Have you seen the church marriage entry for witness names?

Elizabeth last appears on the 1891 census so this would likely be her death.
Deaths Sep 1891
TOMLINSON, Elizabeth
Aged 86
Shardlow 7b 223
It does not appear in the GRO indexes as far as I can see so I have submitted an error.
