Bedells may be a rare enough name to ID siblings/parents from the 1927 birth registration.
I suggest that you start there.
We cannot assist with searches for the still-living

If you are looking for living descendants - Rootschat has a strict no living persons policy so no details can be given here. Further births are easily found on freebmd showing from 1927 - 1947
Parents married 1927 per freebmd and can be found on the 1939 register
www.freebmd.org.uk
As you know her married name - you can use that info to look for her marriage & find details of any children born to that marriage. Use freebmd to search for marriages for her siblings
-
Sorry I an looking for decedents for her not relatives living sorry for the misunderstanding
-
Her descendants are her children/grandchildren. As she only married in 1945 it’s likely they are still alive. 3 children born between 1945 - 1961 - easily found using freebmd
-
Sorry I mean her parents and grandparent etc my cousin asked ne to look in our church yard to find them
-
As mentioned above - her parents marriage is easily found on freebmd in 1927. Arthur E Bedells to Sarah E Brewster
Use the 1939 register to find their full birthdates and the 1911 census to find them with their parents
Both parents births are also easily found on freebmd so use that info & GRO online to find their mothers maiden names. https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/Login.asp
The 1911 census info you need is available to you online at www.familysearch.org as advised in an earlier thread

I wonder if this is the same Mr. Bedells that had the secondhand furniture shop, on Dudley Road, Grantham...he had a son called David I think.....
-
If this is the same David Bedells he would be 80 now as I was at school in the same class as him.
-
There is a Bedells tree on Ancestry - have you seen it?

Hi,
I can help as Shiela was my grandmother's sister and I used to go and visit her. I am still in touch with her children and grandchildren.

It's not, Arthur E. was my grandfather, he never owned a shop. Quite interesting that the shop was owned by a Bedells though as I grew up on that road

I also got mixed up, Shiela was my grandmother's sister!
Her parents:
Arthur E. Bedells & Sarah E. Brewster
Arthur - Henry Bedells & Charlotte Smart
Sarah - George T. Brewster & Louisa Issac
Henry - William Bedells & Mary Slator
Charlotte - John T. Smart & Clara Chantry
George - Thomas Brewster & Mary Dennis
Louisa - Robert Isaac & Sarah Eldridge
William Bedells is my current brick wall. I have him down as 1831 (b) and he is on the censuses 1851 - Nottingham, 1861 - Nottingham, 1871 - Grantham, 1881 - Grantham, death - 1888.
on each census he gave a different birthplace. I have a book about the Bedells family tree and the author came to the conclusion that William was the son of another William and born in Leicester, I have yet to find evidence to back this up

Don't know if it's significant, or not, but there was a David T Bedells, born Grantham in 1941, mmn Dawson.....possibly the son of the shop owner on Dudley Road ?.....Thomas F Bedells married Dorothy M Dawson 1939 at Grantham....

Thomas F. Bedells was the brother of Arthur E.
Is the shop the one that turned into a newsagents and then closed not long after?

When I lived on Dudley Road, in the 1980's the second hand furniture shop was almost opposite the end of St, Anne's Street.....between it and Stuart Street, it was turned into flats in the early 90's I think.....I also seem to think that the Bedells were at one time fruit and veg. dealers.....I knew David Bedells, and can remember his father, he used to come to the gardens at Belton House, in the 1970's when I worked there......
