Hi, In the St John´s Road Workhouse Register, 1910 is my husbands grandmother (Eliza)and her new born baby. (My husbands father) The baby was born the day before his entry into the workhouse. What puzzles me is that Eliza lived at 100 Bride Street, Islington for many years and it is mentioned on the Workhouse Register as her address, but also there are two other addresses 55 Colebrook Row Islington for her and 33 Rupert Road, London for her baby. How can I find out who lived there in 1910 and why the two extra addresses? The family were very poor and did not own any property.

In 1901 No. 55 Colebrook Row was a childrens home

 Thank you so much, that is really helpful. I shall see if they have any records now. I wonder why that was the mother's address and not the babies?
