Hi I'm looking for any of my lost relatives on portland dorset that are dependents from the Ball tree from Wales I have some sir names to start with from Ogmore terrace merthyr tydfil glamorgan wales Ball family )descendents are ( Dunn)(creed)(beech)(willcocks)
(Williams) any links would help with my family tree thank you 😊

Have you checked the Surname Interests Board - scroll to bottom of page & link is under Tools

You'll need to give us a bit more detail re dates and names; Welsh surnames are too common otherwise. There are people living on Portland who were born in Merthyr T but none matching the surnames you gave. The closest is probably a Ball in 1901 who came from Cardiff.
Examples include:
1861 - Brooks
1881 - Hughes, Kayes
1891 - Holland
1901- Cagney, Williams, Ralph, Edwards

His name was Patrick Horgan born 1867? from Pembrokeshire Wales and he died somewhere between 1955 to 1959 I know he lived in victoria square portland dorset uk and died in weymouth hospital and was buried some were in or near Ogmore in South Wales uk
And think he might of had a daughter Edith ? Any thing would be helpful thanks from mel .

Patrick (b 15 Sep 1867) was still living in Wales as a miner in 1939 but was buried in Portland on 7 Dec 1949. He had been living at 66 Chiswell, Portland.
There are 38 trees on Ancestry listing his children but I don't know how accurate they are.
