Title: Sims family photo..needs TLC and dating please

hi,,we,ve found this old photo of the sims family living at abram,wigan,,we wondered if someone could possibly date it for us and also give it some TLC and tidy it up abit,,unfortunately the little boys face is damaged so doubt anything could be done with him,,,
but any help with dating or improving this would be greatly appreciated,,thanking you in advance for your hard work

  Hi Michelle, Just my view of the date which I believe would be around 1913/1914, any variation down to  1909, and hope this makes the connection you want.
Everybody has done a great job with the photo and what a finale, so a very well done again.

Just as a matter of interest can anyone find details for "Carter &Co" in Bristol. I have looked but failed.

Ooops, Just realised I posted the wrong photos, the ones I posted were work in progess ones rather than the intended final ones. I have changed them and I hope the boy who had no features does have some better ones now.

cartedevisite.co.uk had their Carter & Co Bristol examples dated about 1903/4/5

It appears Carter & Co were around from early to mid-1890s
And were Piper and Carter prior
