Post by: md11day on Sunday 14 February 21 17:24 GMT (UK)
Hi..we were  wondering if anyone could possibly date this photo for us...I have posted this photo on here before believing it to be the Sims family from stoke on trent,staffs..we are trying to pinpoint the family matching the children in age etc from the census's...so if it could be dated it would help us alot...
Thank u in advance

I would suggest from late 1890's to around mid 1900's.
So on the 1901 census I would be looking for a couple with 4 girls & 3 boys.
& possibly a newborn assuming these are all of them.

I have a family photo in which they are wearing similar clothing. It's dated 1902-4. depending on whose marriage it is!

Looking at the big or elder girl with a white blouse on middle back reminds me of the film the railway children based on the 1906 novel of the same name by E. Nesbit (info from Wikipedia)

Thus Gadget seems near with the dates 1902 to 1904
