Hi AllA
A John Isgar married Martha ? she was born in Maidstone in 1845,John was born 1838 in Chedder Somerset,they later moved to Wrexham Wales.
What i'm trying to find is Marthas surname.

I have a papermaker probably of Welsh origin in Maidstone.
Is there some connection between Wales and Maidstone papermakers.

Sorry for not replying sooner.
This search was for my nephew he wanted to know about the name Isgar.
I did find a Somerset link and a Maidstone one ???.
He moved to Wrexham as a papermaker

There is a baptism for Martha WHITE daughter of John, a papermaker, and Hannah at Holy Trinity, Maidsone on February 9th 1845.
