Hello everyone,
I came upon this today when I was going through some old documents. It's nothing to do with my family so I thought I'd post it on here in case it happens to be someone elses :)
Purchase of grave plot no 1664 Section D, Manchester Southern Cemetery by Peter Lord 1909
A quick checks shows that the following are buried in the plot;- Sidney Gervan (gervase)Lord 1900,Walter John Lord 1909, Peter Lord 1939,Elizabeth Lord 1944,Emmeline Lord 1945,Lily Lord cremated remains of), George Lord (cremated remains of ) & Elsie Lord 1963.From Salford, Droylsden,Chorlton area. 1911 census has Peter with wife Elizabeth & children George & Emmeline at 50 Falcon Street ,Weaste. 1881 census at the Police Station on Manchester Road,Droylsden Peter Lord with parents George (police sgt.) & Mary also Siblings Sarah Ann, Mary, George, Ellen, Emma, Eliza, Elizabeth & Alice.Fingers crossed it belongs to someone on Rootschat xx
