Title: Searching for parents
Post by: Nicky on Thursday 28 January 21 12:36 GMT (UK)
William Harrison born 1791 in Kenilworth married a Mary Ward born 1795 in Radford Semele. They married 1816.

Marys father was Thomas Ward and mother Mary. I'm stuck finding their marriage.
Any help would be great please.

I posted those other baptisms to give us a rough idea of the date they could have married

Thats definitely the family!
John Cotterill married Mary Harrison in 1845, they are my 3x great grandparents.

Stuck on William Harrison, Mary's father too.

Doesn't help that Cotterill was spelled in many different ways.

i was born the last generation  7 generations in all into the Harrison line of working canal boatmen intresting to note that in the parish records  for the wedding of John Cotterill & Mary Harrison parents are named as Tomas Cotterill & William Harrison  William being my GGG Grandads brother also one of the sisters married George Duckett who is listed on this record as being a witness   ll this made me sure they where within my extended tree & also dispite there being no mention of the connections to working canal boatmen that we where talking the same family members
