We have a George Benjamin Mitchell aged 89 years buried in grave  No 74. In the 1970s the headstones were removed and the area was changed to a conservation area. Does anyone know what happened to all the headstones.

I would like to know the same info.
I have my great grandmother in plot there. Her headstone and those of my grandma’s brother and sister where removed and my grandma and great grandad where not informed…hence she never went to a Church of England Church again after that…she couldn’t forgive them.
