Hi there
For the Great War centenary, think the end but could be the beginning, there was a website created for memories and photos of war dead - can anybody remember the website?
Thanks

Did you mean the Commonwealth War Graves Commission?
www.cwgc.org.uk
-
.......or Lives of the First World War.
https://livesofthefirstworldwar.iwm.org.uk/

This one perhaps?

Or a personal accounts one?

Thanks for all these suggestions!
The site I'm thinking of certainly used the CWGC database...

I remember it, was it the Oxford University one, I used it a lot as it had a lot of diaries and photos, and other war related info.

This one? Tower of London remembers - Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red.

Thanks for all the suggestions - I haven't seen it yet.
I suspect it used the data from the CWGC so all war dead were there...

Was it the dedications page of the Tower of London site? The link is below but not sure if it will work now.

I don't think it's specifically a centenary one, but the Roll of Honour site has a poppy on it:

Edit:
there's another site with a similar name - see reply #16

Are you sure you are not thinking of the Lives of the First World War project?
"This innovative digital project ran from 12 May 2014 to 19 March 2019. From individuals and families, to communities and organisations, more than 160,000 people collaborated to piece together the lives of people who experienced the conflict, through sharing anecdotes and digitising material that has been hidden away in attics until now."

To add to my reply #14, there's another Roll of Honour site (with poppies) at
https://roll-of-honour.org.uk/

Hi all
The IWM site is similar but doesn't seem to have those who died abroad...?
I'm amazed at the number of sites related to the Great War!!
Many thanks
