Hi everybody
Can anyone help me as to which district area this marriage would have been, all I know is it was
Sculcoates, marriage 10 February 1822 James Featherstone Barker n Maria Tyson.
I know parts of Sculcoates were split between Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire 1937
so the register could be in either archive of Hull History Centre and The Treasure House,
Beverley or still in church vaults or destroyed during the Blitz.
Next, if anyone has this James Featherstone Barker in their research and has managed
to match him with his parent/s I would be pleased if you would contact me.
Please note, I don't require information for census's etc., or links to the Featherstone Society,
as I am part of this
Thanks

Birthplace Hull on both
Complete longshot - wondered about this marriage entry on FS

The image is on FindMyPast.
The transcription says Sculcoates All Saints, Yorkshire (East Riding)
The first image of the book says Sculcoates All Saints Parish ( St Mary's)

Hi CarolW, long while no chit chat. Thanks, yes there is some confusion about his name and what is his correct name.
Yes, that is a possibility for his parents, thanks. I will look on Featherstone database to cross ref this marriage and names.
Hi Comberton, many thanks, now I have the church name.

I have a copy of EYFHS booklet covering that marriage and it states that the registers are at Beverley.
