Title: Consistory court cases
Post by: Helena11a on Friday 22 January 21 08:21 GMT (UK)
I received two Consistory court cases relating to a case in 1608 (7 pages) and another in 1614 (8 pages) both in Derbyshire.  However they seem to be in Latin and/or Legal abbreviation.

I anyone able to transcribe them for me or know anyone who can?  I have already had one quote but it is over budget but I am willing to pay for them to be transcribed

I think you need to know whether they are in Latin, or in archaic English, before you can find the right person to help you.

Why don’t you post a few lines on here- people will be able to tell from that, then you can focus your search.

Thanks for the reply, I have now received a revised quote and have accepted that.
