Welcome to rootschat :)
The marriage image for St Leonards, Deal looks like Henrietta Mayled. The name where the signature (x) is written which is a mess is Maxted. I can see why it has been transcribed as May, the x does look like a y.
The banns entries are for Haxted.

A HENRY Maxted married 16 Oct 1766 Deal also.
A Brother?

FindMyPast are showing two records, one for May & one Maxted.
Family search shows Maxted.

Both the images of the Banns and the marriage entry all show Maxted.
