 John George Benton married a Ellen Murray a widow with two children in 1935 in Nuneaton were and when did he die any descends still around

I'm afraid we are not allowed to discuss any living descends but you can have a look on the Free Birth Marriage Death index for his death. 

When do you last have confirmation of him - 1935 or later?

I note the marriage in 1935 but I do not see a birth registration for him in England?

By the way Nuneaton is in Warwickshire, is that where you thought he was born?

No death for John G in England but if the birth year is indeed 1902 this is the only death in England.

These may be his parents?

William Benton married Hannah Elizabeth Hicklin 1897
Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

The family are on the 1911 census if you check on Family Search.

You should get the marriage certificate for confirmation of his father.

Have you found Ellen, with or without children, in 1939?

Tree on Ancestry has Ellen as Ellen Howes Hand - looks to be Howes in 1901 and Hand in 1911 - born around 1898 in Yorkshire.  No marriage shown to John Murray, and claimed death for him in 1930, and a daughter born in 1933 (son born 1925).

Daughter's birth on freebmd mmn Howes, son's birth on free bmd mmn Howeshand.

Added:
Marriage 1925 in Dudley.  Husband is Charles W Murray.  There is another marriage in 1934 in Dudley also for a Charles W Murray.

I can see an Ellen Benton, born 1898, in Dudley in 1939, with Howes/Hands and Murray, but no other Benton.

If John and Ellen did not have children - no descendants?

There is a death for an Ellen Benton in Dudley in 1978 - get certificate to see if she was a widow?

Probate for him, apply for it if you think this is the correct death.  (Born 6th August 1902)

Added:  Think there is another John Benton born 1902 showing in Derbyshire in 1939.....
