Happy New Year to one and all and thanks to your help last year!
I am attaching 2 CDV photos (husband & wife) for restoration, please. His is by Lombardi & Co of London and hers by Hills and Saunders of Oxford. Any ideas when taken?
Thanks

First one as a black and white image. I do not enhance faces with an AI app as these use replacement features rather the actual ones.

I agree with Gadget, I don't like enhancement apps. Here is my version of Percival.

I would say these were taken in the 1870s most likely late decade when the plait laid further back on the head.

Agree with Carol, re date mid-late 1970s (add - maybe just into 1880)

Great photos and superb restorations. I don't use photo enhancing
Cheat Apps either ;D
Here is my take on Percival.

Thanks to all. The usual crop of winners! I also agree about the spooky eyes even though I don't understand the ins and outs of enhancement apps. Thanks also for the dating.
We (myself and cousin) have a cdv album with a total of 114 individuals, many unfortunately unidentified, and 56 photographers. I am presently profiling each photographer so any help with this for the cards I've submitted and other suggestions are welcomed.
