I received Information on the John James Butterfield and his wife Agnes Costello But could you tell me was her family Irish

Did they have a daughter Agnes Beatrice born c 1915 ?
This family appears to be on several US censuses you can access them free at www.familysearch.org though you will have to register.
If this is the correct couple then Agnes is stated as having been born in England with an English father.

There is another couple in the 1930 census
Agnes Butterfield aged 25 born New York (father New York / mother Ireland )  with husband John and sons John and William. Living in New York.

Hi Jim - 1930 census said John Butterfield snr was born in England.
