Probably ben asked 100 times, but is there anybody in here can identify a cap badge from WW1 please??

Yes just post a photograph of the badge on RootsChat and someone will probably recognize it. Then you can get an image. My father was in the Durham Light Infantry ay Dunkirk. Here is the DLI cap badge.

When you reply, click on "Attachments and other options" below the reply text box.

Pictures must be no bigger than 500KB, and must have a name that is unique within RootsChat.
(I normally add my initials to the filename  ;D)

I agree Royal Engineers, but it looks later than WW1, more like WW2 or later.

Have you considered applying for his records from the MOD? There is a cost of £30 and a long wait.

It is definately a WW1 photo.   All i have to go on is his full name, date and place of birth.  I have no military informnation whatsoever..
