Title: 53 Quarry Street, Hamilton
Post by: Axamfam on Monday 23 November 20 16:26 GMT (UK)
Any help dating this photo would be greatly appreciated.  It says on the bottom Sharp, 53 Quarry Street, Hamilton.  Does it look like she is carrying a clutch purse in her left hand?

Thanks, Gadget, Don't know that any of this helps me solve who it is however, most of my family were Bailleston based, and if it is 1930 I can't fit this with any relative.  Guess I will have to keep hoping someone recognizes her.

I assume the studio photographer came to her.  Was there a particular period in Scottish history that this occurred?  Was there a time when only photos were taken in a studio but not outdoors?  Novice here, so please forgive stupid questions.
