With ages at death you now have additional approx. birth years, which may assist with finding them prior to NSW.
You need the death certificates of the parents.
Where did John B marry Mary E? It would be useful to know, as it may assist with a timeframe for their move to NSW, assuming they came from another state.

It was not uncommon that Catholic parents in SA did not always register births of children.
You will need to look for baptisms.

I have a connection to the SA Hynes thru my Shannon tree - see below.
I also have a Conry/Kelly connection thru my Gilbert tree. Since they are possibly still alive the geographic situation does not match as mine are Melbourne/Goondiwindi & Brisbane.
