Hello lovely people ! Would anyone be able to touch up this photograph of my grandfather Wilfred Sharp of Blackpool b 1912 - d 1943 ? I never actually met him as I was born in 1974. He passed when my Father was only 3. Apparently he was working on gas pipes and they were leaking unbeknownst to him as the gas was not scented with mercaptan back then to allow for detection. The gas burnt his lungs and he never recovered.

First pass - just so that you knew someone had picked it up.
I'll work on it some more over the next few days.
Rather than add anything to it, I prefer to only use what's there to reconstruct as necessary

My try. :)

Thanks, Tomkin. :D (I did have to redact a few things in that paper - they were very un-PC those days.) ;D

He struck me as being a cricketer so may be he is reading the latest results on the Sports Page ;D
I must put this one on my list of "Things to do" ;D
Some good results so far!

Thanks for people's comments on the restores; very much appreciated. :)
I reckon he's been studying the form guide. And he's just had a win on the horses or the greyhounds, hence the smile. ;D

Thank you so, so much to everyone for putting in the time and effort. I am very grateful ! I will pass all of these onto my 81yo Dad. He will be very happy :)
