Hi
I'm trying to find out the mother of John Bant born Rowington 30 April 1759
As far as I can tell his father was Humphrey Bant and his mother could have been either Deborah, Ann or Margret as Humphrey married three times.
He had three children with Deborah she died 1756 Rowington. Then he married Ann in 1757 Rowington and i think they had (john) I have no record if she died. Then he married Margret in Rowington in 1760 they had four children all born Rowington
My problem is I can find all the records for the childrens births in Rowington except John and no death record for Ann
Your help would be much appreciated

This transcription of the Rowington registers on archive.org, gives John's baptism
https://archive.org/stream/theregistersofro00rowi/theregistersofro00rowi_djvu.txt
1749
John ye son of Humphrey Bant & Deborah his Wife April ye 30th.
You have written '1759' on your post.
There is no baptism for a John Bant in 1759.
I didn't quite understand why you started the post with this exact date of 1759, then lower down the post said you couldn't find his baptism. You must have found a date at some point - then perhaps written down the year wrongly?
I couldn't see a burial of this John Bant, born 1749, between 1749 and1759. If he had died, Humphrey might have named another son John later on.
Also in this book
buried
Ann ye Wife of Humphrey Bant of Pinley Oct : 24th.
I think that's 1759, bit difficult to tell from the transcripts. You'll need to check that in the actual register.
Can't help commenting as I skimmed through these registers how many times the name 'William Shakespeare', and other Shakespeare names, turned up! :)
