Title: Waterdale Southmead Road

These were pictures were found in my late mother-in-laws photo album. Probably some relation or family connection but beyond that I have no idea. Waterdale is a substantial house so I was wondering if anyone knew it and the family that lived there. Photos look about 1920. The photos have written on the back "Waterdale" at the corner of Southmead Road and Henlease (sic) Road. I can see from Google that the house has long gone.

Can't see  Waterdale on the 1901 and 1911 census listed

the only one for  'Hazeldene' Filton is

a Francis Henry Phillips - aged 38 - married  a Wheelwright and Printer

His address is Station Road, Filton on the first sheet  .....  then Hazledene, Filton, on the Schedule page.

They only have 6 rooms.

Waterdale, Southmead Road (Westbury on Trym) is on the 1911 census - Try Edith Buckland bn Lincolnshire.  The enumerators list mentions the other properties that show on your map.

Southmead House in 1901 is at RG13/2403 folio 122 page 3 in case you want to trawl the census
