Hi there:
Trying to locate the marriage record for a Anne Mallon. I have uncovered 3 birth certificates for children: James, MAry Catherine and Isabella. The father is named as Patrick Hillock, a bricklayer. I have been unable to locate any marriage certificate for this union. I have used Ancestry and irish generalogy websites but nothing. I have found additional records for further marriages of PAtrick: 1914 to Elizabeth Daley and then in 1920 to Elizabeth Nicholson.
Thanking you for any suggestions.
Cheers

Can’t see a marriage in Ireland. I note Patrick was born in Glasgow, so checked in Scotland. No sign of marriage there either. Family in 1901:

1911:

There was also Patrick born 1899 (died 1899):

And Annie in 1897:

From a St. Peter's (Belfast) record transcript, Patrick 'Hillrick' of 108 Albert Street married Annie Mallon of 8 Marchioness Street on 14 November 1885, both parents for each party were listed: James & Isabella 'Hillrick'; Peter & Mary Mallon. The marriage was witnessed by John McAtear and Elizabeth Leonard.
From the 1884 Belfast street directory listing for Albert Street on the PRONI website:
108 Hillock, James, builder
James Hillock died at 124 Albert Street (same address as the 1911 census return posted at reply #1 above) on 7 May 1897 at a reported age of 61, the informant was his son John of 8 Belgrade Street:

James' will is available to read on the PRONI Will Calendars website:
Probate of the Will of James Hillock late of 124 Albert-street Belfast Bricklayer who died 7 May 1897 granted at Belfast to Patrick Hillock of 22 Ton-street John Hillock of 8 Belgrade-street and Michael Hillock of 224 Albert-street Bricklayers

The above named John Hillock of Belgrade Street:

James Hillock's widow Isabella in 1901 at house 124 in Albert Street:

Same address again (124 Albert Street), Isabella Hillock, widow of a bricklayer, died on 20 February 1912 at a reported age of 76, the informant was her son Patrick of same address:

Possible parents for Patrick and John are those in a St. Patrick's (Belfast) marriage of 19 January 1857, when James Hillick married Isabella 'Magee' (McKee?), no father's details recorded, the witnesses were Peter McLoughlin and Rose Shannon, I can see births and marriages for several children to this couple... but I'm not sure if all this is covering old territory for you, so will pause here - but I can provide details if you like.

Thank you so very much for this. How were you able to search the St. Peters records?
Again, thank you.

Searched the (subscription-based) Ulster Historical Foundation website for marriages of 'Pat% Hil%' (%=wildcard).
