Title: Are these surnames the same?

Does Abigail Woolston on the marriage record have the same surname as her Father Daniel? His surname looks like it starts with an M and I don't see the Wool part of it.

Her father's name looks like Daniel Mason add - or Maron or Maton

I thought it might have been Maron. Thank you very much for the reply.

I'm really struggling with this side of my family. I can't seem to find much about them and when I do it just confuses me even more  :-X

The image I see is very pixelated, but I am erring towards his surname being Mason.

It shows up very well on my laptop, Ruskie - I can zoom in with no pixelation.

S128 - Have you found a baptism for her? The 1851 has her as aged 33 and born Hickling.

Just looked at the baptism again. Abigail is listed as Abigail Mason (as first names)   Daniel is listed as a labourer
