Good morning,
I hope somebody can point me in the right direction, I am trying to locate the burial of
Harriett Chalmers died 3rd January 1964 Macclesfield.
Harriett s my GrtUncles widow, he was killed at the battle of Looes in 1915.
I've been to Macclesfield Cemetery and checked, she's not buried or cremated there.
I've checked Astbury where she came from, she's not there.
I dont know where to go from here. Hopefully someone can help
Kind regards
Jeanne

The probate entry for Harriett says that her address was 74 Cambridge Road, Macclesfield.

As you have her exact date of death & address - try ringing the records office as they may be able to help with her burial details

Hi Bumblebee and Carole W
Thank you for your replies, Harriett lived at 74 Cambridge Road with her nephew and his wife.
years ago my brother and his wife went to see her nephew and his wife who were very elderly, but didn't ask where she was buried as they assumed she was in Macclesfield, she's always been very elusive our Harriett.
I'll try the records office, I'll try anything, we've been looking for her on and off for years, now I'm determined to find her. Will let you know
Kind regards
Beannie
